Introduction
The Israel Center aims to combine the efforts and resources of two universities to create a world-class collaborative think tank, that serves a leading research center for issues of mutual interest and concern as well as for the study of Sino-Israel relations in a global context from both an academic and policy-relevant vantage point.

The Israel Center is also designed to furnish Chinese and international students with the knowledge and critical skills needed to understand the State of Israel, its politics and the geopolitical development in the Middle East.
The research area include but not be limited to the following areas of mutual interest:
- Sino-Israel relations
- Aspects of China's politics, society, technology and military that might influence bilateral relations.
- Aspects of Israel's politics, society, technology and military that might influence bilateral relations.
- Israel-Middle East relations
- Israel-US relations
- Sino-US relations
- Sino-Israel-US relations
- Strategic Analysis
- Comparative Politics between China and Israel
- Comparative international relations and public diplomacy
- Energy Security

The Israel Center will also act as a hub for advancing exchanges between both sides in various fields, such as education, technology transfer and the like.
